(6) If the reboot of operating system is required, please reboot operating system.

4.7 Without Windows Print Spooler service

NEC ExpressUpdate Agent Ver.3.10 or earlier, if Print Spooler service is stopped, eciService service will also

be stopped. If you do not use Print Spooler service, please restart eciService service as follows.

NEC ExpressUpdate Agent Ver.3.11 or later, there is no dependency on Print Spooler service.

(1) If Print Spooler service has been stopped, start Print Spooler services first, and then start eciService

service.

(2) Set "Properties" - "General" - "Startup type" of Print Spooler service to "Manual" or "Disabled" on

condition Print Spooler service is running state.

(3) Stop Print Spooler service.

(4) Start eciService service.
